The Best Hotel Pools With a View

We love a good hotel pool. But a hotel pool with a stunning view? That can take your hotel stay from amazing to out of this world. We round up the most spectacular pools with incredible views around the world.

The Sri Panwa Estate, Phuket, Thailand

This hotel can credit its views to being perched on the top of Cape Panwa on the Southeastern tip of Phuket. Every one of the 20 suites and 10 penthouses at this luxury hotel come with an incredible view, so you truly can’t go wrong. And we don’t blame you if you plan on spending breakfast, lunch, dinner and every minute in between at this spot.

The Kensho Hotel, Mykonos, Greece

The Kensho hotel is stunning architecturally in aged wood and white stone and comes with just 25 rooms and 10 suites. This pool looks pretty spectacular during the day overlooking that vibrant blue sea, but come nightfall, this pool lights up, dotted with “stars” to make your evening even more magical.

The Casa Angelina, Priano, Italy

It may be a small pool in comparison to many others on this list, but the views of the Amalfi Coast that it boasts helped make the cut. Carved into the rocky cliffs of the coastline, the boutique hotel keeps things clean, white and simple in design. Same goes for their simplistic pool, because who would want to compete with a view like this?

The Hanging Gardens of Bali, Ubud, Bali

Probably one of the most photographed pools (just take a peek on Instagram!) in the world can be found in Bali. In fact, TripAdvisor and Condé Nast Traveller named this double level cascading pool at The Hanging Garden as the “World’s Best Swimming Pool” - and it’s not hard to see why. The curvy pool overlooks the Indonesian jungle in the heart of Bali, giving the most perfect, zen moment.

The Oberoi Udaipur, Udaipur

There’s not much that can be said after looking at this picture. You’re literally staying at a palace when you check in to the luxe Oberoi Udaipur. And then you get a semi-private pool on top of it? That’s almost too much for our travel hearts to handle (almost).

The Enchantment Resort, Sedona, Arizona

This view honestly doesn’t even look like it’s on this planet! Take in the views of the Grand Canyon’s spectacular red rocks at The Enchantment Resort in Arizona. This hotel is set on 70 acres of natural beauty and comes with golf and an amazing spa, so everywhere you look is a spectacular view! Under the hot Arizona sun, a lounger and a cocktail by this pool seems like perfection.

L’and Vineyard, Evora, Portugal

When we saw this unassuming pool it immediately caught our eye. Completely still with a gorgeous reflection of the architecturally pleasing buildings and surrounding vineyards, it looked too perfect for words.

ITC Grand Bharat, New Dehli, India
Usually when you think of a hotel with a view, it’s looking out on an ocean, a lush jungle, or a desert. But here, you’re looking at incredible architecture. If you can pry yourself away from the lounger at the pool you can stay in one of their incredible 100 luxury suites.

 Thompson Toronto, Toronto
Boasting some of the best views of the city, the Thompson Toronto was ranked as the top rooftop pool bar in the city by Forbes and CNN. We’re pretty sure the 360 views of Canada’s biggest city’s skyline had something to do with it! It’s also a celebrity hot spot (think Bradley Cooper, Jake Gyllenhaal and Kate Hudson to name a few), so you never know who you might see sipping cocktails by the pool.

The Viceroy, Los Cabos, Mexico
This is not the type of hotel you expect to find in Cabo, but it’s an architectural wonder that easily has the most unique pool views in the area, thanks to its multiple pools and view of the sea. These pools are water sustainable (meaning all the water comes from the sea and is purified before ending up in the shallow hotel pools. On a calm day the pools look like reflective glass, on a breezy day they glisten!

Fullerton Bay Hotel, Singapore
Singapore has to have one of the best skylines in Asia, and imagine taking it all in by night at the Fullerton Bay Hotel’s rooftop pool. Take in the sunset with cocktail in hand while overlooking the marina (and don’t forget to book a marina view room, so even when you leave the pool you still have incredible views).
